Learn to Draw Your Style (8-11yo) Mondays, 4-5pm - After School Classes - Mornington

Your child will choose what they want to learn, whether it’s anime, traditional drawing, or another style they enjoy. This is a general drawing class where each student gets individual guidance from the tutor. They are welcome to bring different art materials to class to try.

They’ll meet other creative kids and have fun building their drawing skills.

Each week they’ll grow in confidence, learn new techniques and use their imagination. They’ll be encouraged to make creative choices and express themselves through their artwork.

MATERIALS LIST: (Please wait for class confirmation before purchasing any materials)

Please bring to class the following materials- 

• Drawing Sketchbook/Paper (Any size; A5- A3) 

• Graphite pencil set  (eg; 6B to 4H)

• Blending stump set

• Eraser 

• Sharpener  

• A4 plastic display folder

OPTIONAL: these can be discussed in class and may be purchased throughout the term if required

• Ruler and or ruler set 

• Fine liner set for outlining

• Charcoal set

• Colour Pencil set

Most of this is available at some of the $2 shops or Officeworks.

Arriving to class fully prepared, assists you to focus on what you are learning. 

Your child will feel proud of themselves along with a sense of achievement. It is about boosting their self esteem, inspiring them, encouraging decision making and expressing themselves through creativity to feel good about themselves.
